I mean, that's never happened with me but I feel like what you're talking about is unheard of. My neuropathy does a lot of things, like I've lost most sensation in my feet and fingertips.

I will be seeing my neurologist this month and we will be discussing Topamax using it as off label medicine to see if that will work for my nerve pain. I thought I'd share with others that this medicine supposed to help to curve apitite as well I'll soon see how it can help me with both since alot of these nerve meds cause weight gain ugh

Peripheral neuropathy is the craziest. It causes so many different sensations. And you can never get ahead of it and never predict.

Hi Chelsie, l am on Topamax was originally on 25mg but this past summer it was raised to 50mg. It mainly helps the severe headaches l get from the nerve pain. My doctor has me taking it at bedtime. Good luck
