Seeking Advice on Potential BPD Diagnosis and Coping Strategies

I've been curious lately about a potential disorder. When I was 15 turning 16 I was admitted into an inpatient behavioral health hospital for minors and I had met a person there who suffered from BPD however, he couldn't be officially diagnosed because he was 17, and as he got to know me, he told me that I seemed like I potentially had it as well. Before I had met this person my therapist at that facility also mentioned that I have symptoms of it but she couldn't diagnose me at 16 and even if she could, my father refused to let her do any sort of therapy around that topic because he didn't believe it was real just as he says about ADHD. I believed him for a while and went with how he thought but later down the road I've noticed that these things I suffer are very real and they seem to mess with my relationships. Is there anybody here who has BPD that I can talk to about my symptoms and can identify if my symptoms are that of BPD? And how can I cope with them so I can have healthy relationships or help my partner understand?

I was only recently diagnosed, but once the symptoms were put on paper it was easy for me to actually understand and be less confused and take approaches to help. Message me if you want!
