When I talk with my doctor about areas of pain, I often pinpoint it for him. Like, "It's not in my breast, but more in my chest cavity behind the ribs, about here." I also tell him things that help differentiate it from other chest pains I've had like, "This doesn't feel like my panic attacks, those are here and feel like this, but this pain is over here and feels like this, which is really different from the panic attack pain I just explained." Be sure to explain if you have or have not been more active, as a lot of times their first response is that it's a strained muscle from exercising or over exertion.

You should get a calcium score test done. And if your having chest pain always go to the ER. You don't want to mess arround with chest pain.
