Burning Sensation on Head and Chest Pain

does anyone else experience either of the following, they don’t have to go occur together just curious. i get this burning feeling on the top of my head. i also feel this dull ache under my chest and feel like my hearts beating like crazy. i’m 19 years old and have had blood work and EEG’s so i know it’s not seizures or strokes.

Personally I noticed my heart rate was high so I got a Fitbit and noticed it was chronically way too high. Went to cardio and the doc said it was from being unfit, and possibly partially from meds and anxiety. Moral of the story I recommend getting a heart rate tracker like Fitbit

Sounds like some of the similar symptoms I had with anxiety. Could make sense if you have been under stress.

Definitely sounds like anxiety I would ask your doc about anti depressants and of anxiety mess. Even just a low does to see if it makes a difference

Went to ER they said Panic Attack but side effects from antidepressants are possible if yoy get brain zaps? How is your B12, Iron, and sugars? I demanded all of those for me i have very bad constant anxiety and didnt believe it was panic attacks till days later and i let it get to me. Before it was b12 slightly low and now im noticing side effects i think of antidepressants

Anxiety can feel like you’re going to have a heart attack. I went the ER twice while having panic attacks. Not fun. My family doc gave me Xanax, and that helped. Then a friend told me that a psychiatrist would be better at prescribing medication for anxiety. I met her with my first appointment and she put me on Hydroxyzine. It’s really just an Antihistamine, it relaxes you. She told me not to take the Xanax cause it’s so addicting. Also, anxiety always depression, so be aware of that. The antidepressant that she started me on was PROZAC. After 6 weeks I realized it wasn’t going to work. She then started me on Effexor XR. Great medicine for Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) and General Anxiety Disorder (GAD). Also beware, EFFEXOR is very hard to got off. You have to ween yourself off in a 2 month span. You won’t feel very good if you come off of it too soon.

I think it’s Anxiety. I get most of those same symptoms with mine.

Some people notice palpitations more than others or they can be triggered by anxiety. I also get random pains when I’m anxious and I think it’s just my anxiety. Anxiety can definitely mimic physical health issues

When my anxiety is extremely bad, I get the burning sensation on the top of my head. It's one of the worst symptoms. Not sure what causes it, it feels like tingling and burning or like something is tickling my brain on the inside. Starting celexa at just 10mg had completely treated my physical symptoms of anxiety. I still feel anxious sometimes but don't get those sensations.
