Cannabis, also known as "marijuana" among other names, is a psychoactive drug from the Cannabis plant. there are people that are able to get a marijuana license . It's best to talk to your doctor about what you should do.

Cannabis is the psychoactive part yes, your tag in specific says Cannibidiol, which is just the scientific term for CBD which isn't psychoactive at all! Cannabis has many different derivatives that can be used for many things, CBN is good for sleep, CBD is good for anxiety and pain, CBG is supposedly good for immune support (I take this one, and have my license and it's also just legal where I live. I'm not sure how well CBG works as I am always sick but also that's just chronic illness for you). Cannabis also is good for most of these things! I was given my card for OCD and Anxiety, but my doctor also says it's good for my hip injury, my endo, and a bunch of other things I've got going on. Personally, Cannabis has changed my life for the better and actually helped with a lot of my daily symptoms. When my husband got his card for his pain though nothing worked for him and he hated it. He went through every form you could take: tablets, consumables, concentrates, tinctures, regular old smoking, nothing really worked. So it's definitely different for everyone and it can take a while to get used to but I always recommend at least asking your doctor about it

Yeah, I'd wondered about looking into it for my epilepsy. 🤔

everyone is different but omg it's made a world of difference for me. My friend's daughter has dravet syndrome and mmj is the only drug that's actually helped. She went from almost 300 seizures a day to seizure free for the first time in her life. She still has seizures but the number and severity has greatly decreased. I have auras before a seizure and if I vape some cannabis, it can help prevent it.

It's not legal in my state, but I occasionally go to the next state over where it is and get some. It helps me sooooooo much!

I had asked my neuro (several Dr's ago 😑 why can't I keep a decent one?) and he told me it was a 50/50 chance it could work. Of course, that was quite a while ago, so maybe it's different now. 🤔

the closest I've gotten is some cream that helps with deep muscle aches and such. For someone with CP, it's awesome.
