What are your thoughts on cannabis use?

I’m curious about peoples thoughts on cannabis? It’s something I’ve used occasionally just recreationally for a few years, but I know people have mixed feelings on it. Personally, I do not drink, and it is currently legal where I live, so I don’t see a huge issue with it concerning my mental health issues - just wondering other peoples thoughts :)

We love it honestly. We have an mmj card and it helps us to get to sleep or even feel any relaxation after our day. Also helps with the muscle spasms.

i love cannabis! i personally don’t like drinking because of stomach problems and it tends to make me depressed for some time afterwards, but cannabis helps me relax without experiencing either of those.

I have insomnia and migraine headaches and I use to have polycystic ovarian syndrome. Which means the type of weed that is available for us today, INCLUDING the medical marijuana strand I am allergic to it because of the THC. I cannot have THC. I need CBD!!! I was also diagnosed with bipolar disorder. So I take CBD gummies...very potent CBD gummies. 500mg per package or more. 100mg per gummy or higher because of these problems. This is very serious issue about the"weed" strands out there because most ppl do not know this. A WEED IS SOMETHING THAT GROWS WILD!!! LITERALLY!!! SO THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS CANNABIS WEED IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA ANYMORE. IT SURLY IS NOT WILD GROWN! OVER EDUCATE URSELF ON THIS ISSUE.

I would be careful where you’re getting your facts from. This lady also is claiming that Tilapia fish are man made…which they are NOT. So while you’re telling everyone to do their research, and I appreciate that, you need to be careful WHERE that research is coming from. 3 disheveled looking people who look like they’re making videos in their basement wouldn’t be my first go to. Also, all of marijuana is cannibis, even if all cannibis isn’t marijuana and it’s the marijuana that contains your CBD.

My sister had hypokalemic periodic paralysis and it's been the only thing to stop her from having Serizures and randomly getting temporarily paralyzed. So I think it can be very beneficial

THC makes ppl paranoid. If you can not get high. Because it causes headaches or any other adverse side affect DONOT USE THC!!!

It’s one of the most reliable methods of mood and pain management for me. Unfortunately it isn’t covered by insurance and can be pricy, but once you find what works for you it can do wonders. I have had pharmaceutical meds cause bad interactions with it, so definitely try to speak with a pharmacist at the dispensary before you try things. They’re usually very knowledgeable about what is good for your needs. I also have somewhat of a special interest in learning about cannabis as far as what makes them work for different things. Learning about terpenes changed my world, because they’re also naturally occurring in other plants. So you might find even more ways to help manage your symptoms.

I am in Alabama. We don't have dispensaries here. I depend on the cigar shops and they don't let me down And I hate this shittysystem. It's terrible. I am from New York, which I still have my permanent residency and because I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder which is a mental illness caused by these medical conditions, migraines, polycystic ovarian syndrome, etc they will not all me to have a medical marijuana card!! (I have no criminal history whatsoever) So I do not rely on dispensaries at all. The system is not built for ppl to BE HEALED as it is said in the Bible. "...the herbs are for the healing of the nations", Old Testament scripture I am not a Christian anymore because I know I am not perfect. I identify with the Old Testament this lifetime even though I was raised in church for 17 years

that’s weird that you say that, cos I live in NYC currently, and with all my diagnoses, (bipolar and BPD) am still prescribed a medical marijuana card; I’d question the doctor that denied you, cos that shouldn’t be a factor! Also that’s great CBD worked for you - i wasn’t really talking about parasites though haha

For some people it helps with anxiety, yet for me it’s the opposite. I’m an over thinker so it makes me way worse and I just always have a bad trip…. Last time I had an edible, I said never again lol. So depends on the person!
