Struggling with Career Choices and Self-Acceptance

i dropped out of high school when i was 16 due to mental health issues, i got my ged and have been trying to go to cosmetology school and i don’t know if i hate the way the school is run, still have too much trauma towards being in school, or just don’t like this as my career. How do i accept that it’s okay to change what you want to do? How do i know i’m not letting anyone down? How can i be proud of what i’ve accomplished so far?

That transitional period in life where you aren't sure what you want is always hard. I definitely relate. I'm trying to accept that exploring different options is ok and actually a good thing. You never know what the future will bring so explore as much as you can. And don't feel ashamed if schooling just isn't for you. Higher education is hard and I know pleanty of people who had to take a different path for the better. I know its hard but I'm rooting for you! :)
