Personally, when I used CBD to try and substitute for nicotine and reduce the addiction, I found it had a pretty similar reduction for anxiety as smoking did. Essentially, it's not a miracle cure, but it did take the edge off and especially help in social situations where I feel overwhelmed. I imagine more concentrated means of consumption such as oils would have more prominent effects, although I'm not sure. I do tend to use cannabis to help with pain, but as I smoke this I wouldn't know which compound is the most effective at treating the pain. I do also find that when experiencing more severe anxiety and PTSD related episodes the THC is the compound that tends to help, more so because I don't have the brain power left to panic about anything and just eat hummus and sleep 😅. Overall I'd say CBD is effective in assisting with anxiety and there are a lot of methods of consumption depending on your preference. If you smoke or vape I would highly reccomend a switch to CBD based instead of niccotine.

I use hemp and it helps me so much. Hemp isn't marijuana, and should be sold everywhere or at least nearby. Delta 8 can potentially intensify some medical conditions, such as psychosis (it does this to me if I smoke too much) or panic disorder (does this to my best friend if she smokes too much as well).

CBD is decent for mild anxiety and pain but hasn't reallly helped me much for chronic pain and during full blown anxiety attacks like THC does. Even things like THC salves, that wont get you intoxicated, seem to be more effective. My roommate is also allergic to CBD so it will cause him migraines instead of helping with them, however the same issue can be had with thc even if it's only specific strains.
