Dealing with Chronic Illness and Burnout in the Working Class

For my working class with Chronic illness: how long does it usually take you to feel burnout? I haven't had a break from work longer than two days since november and I'm starting to wonder if I'm suffering from burn out on top of my illnesses

Can you help? Connect today

i would actually die if that were me… im 16 for reference but when i had a job that i went to like a couple days a week, i would be in so much pain from simply standing and using my arms after only like 2 hours. you shouldnt push yourself like that in my opinion… you have a valid excuse for taking days off and you should use it. do your bosses know about your condition?

I don’t usually feel it until about a week after it’s actually started to manifest. So I miss all the key signs and end up in a bad place.

It depends on how hectic the week is and how many hours I'm working. I can feel burnt out in as little as a week if it's an overstimulating environment (like the grow house I used to work at) but sometimes it takes months. I usually notice because my brain feels like an overheated windows 98 pc

Thank y'all on the input, it's helping me determine what I gotta do to take care of myself especially as the busy month comes to my job 💕

I 100% suffer from burnout in my job and it doesn’t help that I work long hours 10+ with no breaks each day. I am looking for a new job or something part time because this is not feasible for my health anymore. You can try other things like setting time for meditation/workouts/cooking meals/journaling that can ease my symptoms sometimes
