Feeling Guilty About Doing Nothing During a Flare-Up

Does anyone ever feel like the days just blur into one another? I’ve been having a bad flare-up all week, and I’ve been in my apartment for 4 days straight, doing nothing productive or memorable. How do I stop myself from feeling guilty about it?

Go outside. Even for a minute like literally open your door walk out breathe a couple times and go back to your comfort. Then repeat with something else or the same thing when you get the energy to do it again

I can relate to this in my own way because my schedule is very flexible with online classes and I sometimes end up going days without completing assignments. I also feel guilty for lack of productivity. Recently I was discussing this with my therapist and we considered the possibility of adding self affirmations to remind myself that who I am and what I am worth does not change with what I do or don't accomplish. Hopefully that helps!
