I understand completely! Chronic pain leaves me so depressed most of the time and it’s extremely difficult for me to cope with. I’m in therapy now, but it’s going very slowly. Sending love and light your way. I hope you find relief and understanding and compassion from those around you. ❤️

People without pain simply cannot understand what is like to live with pain on a daily basis. They just cannot. However, they can learn compassion and empathy. They can learn how to help you, what your limits are and to support you as needed. My husband has no true concept of what living with pain is like. He rarely gets sick and hardly ever hurts himself. However, living with me for so many years he sees first hand what I go through. The best you can do is to educate, in love, others around you about your conditions and your limits. Ask for help if you need it and let them know when you don't need help but rather just support. This is hard for some people. They assume that because you hurt you are either needing help or overreacting. When all you need is their patience. Hang in there. Be honest with people around your and remember that they just may not know how to help you so let them know.
