I’m on 3mg a day- 1 in the AM and 2 in the PM before bed. Psych said it would likely make me drowsy but I haven’t experienced that at all. Overall I think it’s been helpful but as my psych told me during my last appointment my anxiety is extremely stubborn and there is a chance I’ve already grown a tolerance to it (which is extremely rare). But overall I do think it has helped and if you don’t have anxiety to my severity it will likely make a big difference if used as an add on to another anxiety med

I like that term “anxiety that is extremely stubborn”… unfortunately because mine is too. I have begun thinking that the Clonazepam isn’t working for me anymore. I have anxiety 24/7…. I can take up to 6mg a day (spread out) and still be crazy anxious! Did your doc have any suggestions for what to do?

people can develop a tolerance to this benzo after two weeks. Be careful and make sure you taper when you want off. Never go cold turkey with this, you can get seizures or worse.

I used to be on it before I moved and now can't afford health care but it was the only thing that managed my depression. I wish I could get back on that one and find a new antidepressant that works.

I was freaked out about taking it at first, but it helped me transition out of a period when I was having very bad panic attacks to a time where I now don't have any

It’s great. I take it as needed and it calms my physical anxiety symptoms pretty quickly, without making me sleepy and useless like Xanax

Been on it for 25+ years. Was taking up to 3 mg a day in my 20's but, now at .05 mg in the am and rarely one more if I get over anxious. I also use it for burning mouth syndrome I acquired with menopause. It really helps.

how long you had to taper down to 0.5? Are you completely off of it now? I'm trying to see do I need to taper off. I been taking 0.5 3x or 4 a day for over a year now.
