The only thing that helped me was switching my antidepressant. I have tried EVERYTHING with no luck, so my Dr prescribed me Wellbutrin. Idk what the difference is, but apparently it's different than all the other antidepressants because it's not an SSRI. It gives me energy and it REALLY helps! The only antidepressant that's ever actually helped me. I will say, the first like week or so it made my heart race SO bad, and it was very hard to sleep, but after that tapered down it's truly been a life saver for my fatigue. I also have lupus to the struggle is REAL with fatigue. Good luck ❤️ I hope you find something that works for you.

wellbutrin is an NDRI, a Norepinephrine-Dopamine Reuptake Inhibitor. SSRIs interact with serotonin, specifically, and like it sounds- NDRIs affect norepinephrine/dopamine. I had a terrible, terrible time w lexapro, which scared me away from treatment, but wellbutrin gave me my life back.

I should say I'm already on Wellbutrin, take a bunch of vitamins and make sure I get enough water and calories. I'm physically active and go to the gym at least 3 times a week. But I still wake up feeling like tired.
