Can a complete transplant cure IBS?

This is random, but I wonder; Because IBS affects the intestines/bowels and stomach, would a complete transplant of both fix it? I mean I know it’s mostly a neurological thing that causes the stomach and bowels to act up, but because fecal transplants work, wouldn’t a full transplant of the bowels and stomach work? This is such a dumb question but I was thinking about it randomly. What are y’all’s thoughts?

I've always thought about this too, glad I'm not the only one! Personally I would love to have a completely synthetic bowel, just all metal tubing down there, or maybe even no digestive system at all and I just run purely off glucose injected straight into my bloodstream. Cut out the middleman!

this is SUCH a late reply but yes!! I’m so tired of having this stomach and set of intestines that just don’t work. I want to take them all out!!
