Complications after Tonsil Removal: How Common Are They?

amount my friends we've noticed that all of us who have had tonsils removed almost died at some point during the procedure or during the healing process, how common is this? (one friend woke up and tried to move during the procedure not knowing it wasn't over, I experienced extreme dehydration ect) how old were you?

Mine was just fine i had no issues and another friend of mine hers was fine just just popped her stitches or whatever after i think but it got handled she’s all good

I was 21 and it was awful, not the surgery, the recovery. It took about 3 months for me to get back to normal
