The one thing that has helped me with that is not forcing yourself to try sleep if you're not tired, youll just lay in bed for hours upon hours mad that you can't sleep. Instead, tell yourself it's fine to stay up and do something moderately productive that doesn't use much energy (repetitive games on phone, books, videos) and you'll eventually doze. As for actually fixing it, not sure on that one yet ๐Ÿ˜… One thing is, I noticed that I tend to function better later than most anyways, so it's good to keep that in mind! I usually have energetic bursts around say 2am & 5am, but am tired all day with no motivation. So maybe you're in a similar boat and just have a later sleep pattern :)

You might be experiencing some form of chronic fatigue. Things like stress, depression and anxiety can be extremely draining and also make it difficult for us to sleep. Some physical health issues can also cause both fatigue and insomnia, which of course tend to make each other worse,,, its hard to know for sure, but 14 hours is definitely more sleep than an adult should need so possibly there's something else going on there ๐Ÿ’œ
