I lost my FP because he killed my dog. it's been hell because I thought he truly love me for years and then he did this. He made my PTSD ten times worse. So I'm kind of in your place just different situation.

wow I’m so sorry… & Mine was also having an affair behind my back for 8 months or more & is now planning to move to Scotland (where she met the guy) she said she ended it with him but idk if that’s true or not at this point.. So now me & her have to come up with a parenting plan for our kids to be able to see & be with the both of us.. I am not moving to Scotland. I even tried fixing things (probably stupid of me) & she decided to back out at the last minute which made me even more confused..

I lost my fp he was my best friend and family for pretty much my entire life, for me i only was able to cope because i had my boyfriend (now fiance) to lean on and already lived with him when i lost my fp and thats what helped me the most. It also helped for me to avoid looking at photos or thing that reminded me of him until i felt ready to, and finding a therapist that listened and helped me.
