I usually wrap an ice pack with cloth and lay down with it on my chest. Coupled with breathing exercises that calms me down pretty fast.

I usually lie on the floor and let myself feel my weight be held by gravity with every breath. Having more surface area feeling gravity helps me with grounding

Going outside in the middle of an attack to change my surroundings and breathe fresh air helps. People watching / nature watching helps to distract from whatever I’m feeling.

I place one hand on my forehead and the other on the back of my head/neck, then focus on breathing. I think the slight pressure cradling my head helps me feel secure and safe. It helps me block out any outside stimuli that may not be helping and focus on thinking myself down.
