I use a couple of grounding techniques that have helped me. One is ocean breathing where you imagine the waves on a beach coming up and going back out and the other is grounding via your 5 senses. Name 5 things you see, 4 you can feel, 3 you can hear, 2 you can smell, and 1 you can taste. It helps to stay calm, relaxed, mindful, and present. I use it mostly for distress tolerance, but it can help with anxiety too!

Put and ice pack or something cold on your chest or inner wrist, elbow or thigh for 15 minutes. It helps with your vagus nerve and will calm your nervous system.

My legs and back are so bad. They don't know if the epidural worked. I have cried all morning and working a 12 hour day my anxiety is everywhere
