Mood stabilizers and antipsychotics are helpful for me. DBT is critical too.

It's good they caught it so early most people go through allot of years with misdiagnosis and feel so lost. I got diagnosed when I was 17 it is a big scary diagnosis but dbt is everything. I'd love to chat more. Mood stablizerd and antophyschotics can cause ALLOT of weight gain and made me over all worse. I lost the weight and did intense dbt therpay. Good thing about dtb is if you do dbt for about a year and work super hard you can go into complete remission and feel just fine you got this text me if you need and help questions or directions I'm 19 and I would love to help someone who was exactly in my position you got this!!

This is normal in severe cases. I got diagnosed at 12 because it got so bad. It’s very common for medication to not help with bpd so don’t think it’ll fix your problems. Therapy should help you
