I make plans. Mentally prepare before we are separated and stay in touch with atleast one other person that is mostly safe for me. Also seeing the positives. As my safe person is my partner, if we are apart it gives me more freedom to do things that I want without having to consider their wants/needs.

My mom is my favorite person as well as my siblings. I call them everyday and talk to them. I also go to church when the people come to my facility. Church gives me a sense of hope that everything will work out in God's time. When I go to see my family I do things that make them as well as myself happy
