Hello! I had often wondered if age matters? I am 67 and was diagnosed with chronic meneire’s. I was told that meclizine was the only med, however, it just makes me sleepy. Eventually, I am fine. I ceased drinking sodas and will not take in much caffeine, but maybe, I shouldn’t drink anything with caffeine. I work with computers and headsets in my ears mist of the day, which could also be some of the issues that will start the vertigo at times. However, I have coped with my situation for many years. I stopped driving for about 5 to 6 years but since we go into the office twice per week, I try and tolerate those days.

Additionally, I have also had therapy, which helped briefly, however, as I have been told ado that there’s no cure. And, unfortunately, I deal with seasonal allergies which does not help the issue.
