I am 10 years into severe chronic illness and still don't have a good answer for this! Support systems, art, music, and routine are helpful to me. But in all honesty, coping with chronic illness is something that is different for every person, and can very well change day to day. My best advice is to listen to your body: rest when you need to, do self care whenever you can, and try to keep some kind of schedule (even if theres only a few small things on your schedule, like making your bed, taking meds, or having a nap). Consistency in routine can be really helpful when we are unable to rely on consistency within our bodies 💕

Get a team of people who can support you🤗 I Personally love holistic physicians/lifestyle medicine, Chinese medicine, therapy and community is great. When people invalidate you, remember that you are the one living in your body. Give yourself validation and compassion
