Coping with a Stigmatism Diagnosis

Well today my eye doctor said I have a stigmatism in my eyes. How does someone who was born with 20/20 vision respond to finding out that for the rest of their life they have to wear glasses. Has anyone else had this happen to you? If so what did you do to cope with glasses?

Contacts could be an option as well, corrective surgery too. Get a 2nd opinion.

my insurance barley covers a $17 frame for the glasses I doubt they will cover contacts or corrective surgery but thank you for the advice 🤗

Personally what made me feel happy with needing to wear glasses forever. Or until you may want contacts. Was the fact that I could get whatever style or design I wanted. Match them with outfits or your style. Like a permanent accessory .
