I try to remind myself (gently) that i am the only thing i can control, i cannot control others, least thier thoughts, feelings or actions and only those that really care may fall into the sphere of influence category.

I write about it...try to sort out what I can control vs. what's out of my control. Then I try to practice some radical acceptance....meaning I don't have to like it, or agree with it, but accept that it is what it is.
