Stomach issues are huge. I guess esophagus and whole GI tract can stop working correctly and that can cause everything from acid reflux to malnutrition. Ugh. I think my stomach issues right now are from the meds. Do you take CellSept? That’s so hard on stomachs. I don’t really know how to help that yet.

Because of my scleroderma I’ve been diagnosed with achalasia and had to have surgery to widen my esophagus and fix the flap at the bottom of my esophagus that’s been a huge problem for me thanks to my scleroderma as well as my lungs I am currently 57 years old according to my lung function and tests I have the lungs of an 80 year old smoker so yes it can cause huge problems

I was diagnosed in 2019 also. However, I have had this disease since in my early thirties thinking about all the misdiagnoses cause your too young to be ill.

I have major stomach issues. Acid reflux, colitis, major bleeding just to name a few. I was put on Plaquenil & D3 10,000 iu. It has stopped my bleeding problems. I still have inflammation issues once in awhile, but not like I used to like all the time.
