personally, i found its best to be open about it! my girlfriend knew before we started dating and when it started getting bad (having accidents, mood swings because of pain, etc) she never shied away. i had an accident today and she even left work to make sure i was okay. it’ll take some hits and misses, but you’ll get there! 🤗 💕

I am completely upfront about my Crohn’s. I don’t try and hide it if it comes up in the discussion. If the person decides to ‘ghost’ me or end the conversation because of it, then I’m more than happy to let them go. I would rather have someone who is understanding and willing to learn about my disease because it is apart of me and effects my everyday life.

I have not, I would always take Imodium before and I would also carry a travel sized poo-pourri just incase!

If you find the right guy the’ll help you through it by being there for you. I’ve been with my boyfriend for a year and he’s always there for me when he can.
