Dealing with Anxiety and Fear of Death

Hi, I've been going threw major anxiety and panic attacks since 2019 and what had happen to start them was my aunt suddenly passing away from a heart attack. I'm very afraid of death and having a heart attack that it has changed my life completely. I should be enjoying my life while I'm still young (20yrs) but how do I move forward with getting over the fact that we all die someday? I've tried meds and it just scares me to take them as I think it will kill me.

I highly highly recommend talking with a therapist about this! It sounds like your aunts sudden passing was traumatizing to you and you’ve developed some limiting beliefs around death because of it. A therapist experienced with ptsd and anxiety will be able to help you work through those thoughts and help you overcome your fear of death :)
