Dealing with Anxiety and Panic Attacks

Sometimes I feel like I’m making my anxiety/panic attacks worse on myself and I feel so guilty. I’m not trying to do it. But does anyone else feel like if you have a meltdown/panic attack that you’d feel better?

I do that a lot. Holding back the panic can make them worse for me... So I have to let them hit me and get them out... Then I'm good

I do. I sometimes know when I'm about to go into a panic attack so what does my brain do in that moment? "Let's make it worse :)" so i sit and make it worse than it needs to be when i could have easily just taken a drink of water and have been fine. Brains are weird. Nothing abnormal about having a weird brain 😂
