Try going through the steps of a simple task in your head, in great detail. Imagine doing it step by step. Try to imagine the sensations if you can!

I wear headphones before I go shopping anywhere. It drowns out other people and noise, helps me concentrate more, and decreases my anxiety. Better than catching myself in a panic attack off guard.

What works for me is to make sure I'm taking slow deep breaths. This makes me feel strange to say but, I count Square objects in the room by fours on my fingers. There are always doors, windows, furniture and books for example. It really forces my brain to think about something other than what I am stressing about. ❤️ Best wishes!

A mindfulness technique I sometimes use is called Take 5 or 5-4-3-2-1 Grounding. You slow down and notice 5 things you see, 4 things you can touch, 3 things you can hear, 2 things you can smell and 1 thing you can taste
