1. instead of worrying about the past or what will happen, bring your mind to the present 2. get to the root of your anxiety. why are you so afraid? where did it come from? when did you first start feeling like this? letting the emotions and fear you push down come out will make it less difficult the next time. 3. most of life's sufferings is from trying to control outcomes to your actions. learn that you don't control the outcomes, just the actions - i can't pass or fail a test, all i can do is study, show up, and answer every question. you don't control the future, only the present. instead of worrying about failing, say "this is as much as i can study, i can't do anything else about it, so if i fail, whatever".

Finding healthy coping mechanisms can help. If you get too overwhelmed, take a break. Step outside of the room and take a couple deep breaths. Maybe make use of those fidgets that are so popular right now. Try carrying around crackers to help settle your stomach and so you have something to vomit other than stomach acid if it gets to that point. I've also found that having a "buffer" can really help too. The buffer can be safe topics of conversation, a pet, a friend, a sibling, anything to make you feel like the attention of everyone in the room *isn't* on you. I have a sister who is 17 years younger than me, so when I am out with her, I use her as my buffer. She is a safe person, *and* she provides a topic of conversation that isn't about me or anything else to give me anxiety. I also have pet rats that I can take places with me to act as a buffer. They love people and people love them, so I know I have to let them see other people for their happiness, and my rats are another safe topic of conversation and a good ice breaker! It may take some trial and error, but as long as you keep trying, you will find something that helps you.🤗💕
