Dealing with Chronic Fatigue: Tips for Getting Up in the Morning

Been dealing with exhaustion for a long time now. I'm not diagnosed yet (mostly because my rheumatologist and I are still currently focusing on the chronic pain aspect of things), but man is it hard to live with. Tips for getting up in the morning when it feels like an exercise all on its own? Currently writing this due to the fact that I'm up to go to the grocery with my mom this morning, but I feel like I'm going to conk out at any moment.

I definitely relate. Before you go to the grocery store, give yourself an hour or more to try to wake up. Go to the grocery store in sunglasses if you have too if you're light sensitive, sometimes bright grocery stores trigger my Fatigue and brain fog worse. Drink a bunch of water or electrolytes as soon as you get up. Pace yourself. Wear comfortable clothes. And to be in and out fast, make sure to bring a list.

As someone who deals with a light sensitivity, I hadn't even thought about it triggering the fatigue, but it makes so much sense now. It's a good thing I'm getting sunglasses at the grocery today! Thank you so much! 💕
