Dealing with Chronic Nausea: Seeking Advice

has anyone with this disorder noticed they have an increase in nausea? If so how do you overcome this/help it? I have struggled with chronic nausea for as long as I can remember. Everytime I mentioned it to my previous doctor, they blamed my lifestyle and anxiety. Now my anxiety is under control and I live a fairly normal and healthy lifestyle and my nausea is still there.

Couldn't have posted this better myself! I have been dealing with it for about 2 years now. Also the lack of appetite, it's the worst. Unfortunately nothing has really helped much. I eat right, control my anxiety and like you said, still have the nausea.

I'm sorry you also struggle with this! Its so hard to eat when your stomach is rolling. I have an appointment this next week with a new physician that I've been seeing off and on recently for other things and I have high hopes for it. If I find anything out I'll let you know ❤️

I feel you 100% and basically asked this same questions a little bit ago. I take medication for the nausea but it doesn’t always work. I know this sounds werid but I have to take my shirt off and sit in front of a fan is what helps me but really I’d like some other help

I had (still do at times) this problem. But, for me it's because my stomach wasn't digesting my food. A change in diet helped so much!

I eat a very healthy balanced diet and it doesn't make a difference :(

YES, it may be a couple factors for each person, but I definitely experience nausea and stomach pain chronically, and it is always exasperated when a stressful event or situation is coming. Different people can hold stress and anxiety in different ways but nausea is absolutely one of them. And it sucks and I am so sorry 😥 Other things maybe irregular eating, if you wake up with nausea often, it may be due to the long break between meals. So keeping small snacks on hand can beneficial. (At least for me?)

I mainly snack versus eating large meals. That's helped with the feeling some. I also don't eat two hours before bed as per my doctor.
