Dealing with Chronic Pain: Any Tips?

Is there anything that helps with the pain in the beginning. My symptoms started the week before Thanksgiving and have just been getting worse. some days I can not even get up. Medications such as ibuprofen do not do anything for the pain. I know eventually the therapy will help but the pain is really bad and I was wondering if anyone had any ways to help until the therapy starts helping.

Hi I hope you’re starting to feel better by now! Physically therapy definitely benefited me. Not much really helped too much with the pain, I tried cymbalta because I had vulvodynia which is nerve pain related. Couldn’t stay on that because it made me feel too off. Overall I’m not sure if this would apply to you but going off of birth control pills got rid of all my symptoms. Let me know any other questions and I’ll see if there’s anything I can help out with!!

Thankyou i will look into Cymbalta. Unfortunately I cannot stop birth control as I have pcos and bleed for months on end if not on birth control so im worse off with that one. I am mostly doing better have regular exercise appointments and am supposed to do yoga strechs to help. Today has been a bad day but most days are good which is a switch from when I last posted.
