Dealing with Chronic Pain in a New State

I am having a hard time dealing with my pain. Ever since I moved from NY to Fla. I am having a hard time getting a dr. to prescribe my Tylenol with Codeine. I work part time. I have monthly massage, Chiropractor as need and exercise a few times a week in and out of pool exercise. The pain is about a 6-10 level. What are others doing to help get through this?

Anytime you move it takes awhile for your body to acclimate to the climate. I moved 2 yrs ago from Houston to OK. I had lived down there 11yrs so my body wasn’t used to seasons. My Dr said with all of my issues give it 18 months to 2 yrs. It has taken all of the 2 yrs but getting Covid didn’t help. Do you take anything that prevents pain? I take two things that work on preventing pain. I don’t have to use Norco very often.

that is so true the biophysical and emotional reacclimation process does require an intermingling of perseverance, patience, endurance and working with a care provider team that works well with you.

Cannabis helps my chronic back pain. Every start has different laws about prescribing pain meds.
