Dealing with Chronic Pain: Seeking Advice

Other than medications what can I do. I need help. I have EDS and Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. I’m in the worst flare up that I’ve ever had. I will take any advice no matter how small it is. I can’t manage the pain.

I would switch between heating pads and ice packs? I've tried Epsom salt baths in hot water help, and if you have muscle relaxers that's great. I'm sorry you're having a bad flare up. 😢

Ice packs make the pain worse from my experience so stay away from them. Heat pads and have you tried CBD?

Have you done desensitization yet? I rub my affected areas with different textures to desensitize the nerves. That's usually the most I can do when I'm in a major flare. Otherwise, cardio helps a ton! A light jog goes a long way, as it releases endocannabinoids that can relieve pain.
