Dealing with Dislocating Foot Bones in EDS

Hi EDS people, I've been having a lot of problems with my foot recently and I'm convinced one of the bones on the top middle area of my foot is dislocating/subluxing. My foot has always been a bit off but in the last month it has been increasingly bad. It has got to the point that about once or twice a day it will shift and I'm basically stuck limping around until it clicks back into place. I've tried Ktape and an ankle supprt thing but it hasn't helped much. Does anyone have any tips or had a similar problem?

i have a lot of similar issues, specifically with my ribs and hips. today is actually a really bad rib day, where it's pushed out and I just have to wait for it to slide back into place. with my hip, i often end up limping when it won't go back into place. i don't really have any tips, other than to be gentle with yourself and possible try to coax it back into place, but don't hurt yourself!!

I have a similar problem with my foot. For me it is very on/off. I use a cane on my "off days". It isn't the easiest to accept for me but it is what it is. If you have a pool nearby try some underwater strengthening workouts to strengthen stabilizing muscles without strain that may cause a subluxation :) I hope you find ways to deal with it 💕
