Dealing with Fatigue in Rheumatoid Arthritis

Hi, My biggest symptom and the hardest thing for me to deal with is the fatigue. How do you all deal with it? I’ve talked to my doctor and i’m starting enbrel but i’m not sure if that will help.

I never heard of this medication before. Did your doctor prescribe that specifically for the fatigue?

I was on Enbrel when I was younger, I personally didn’t like it. It helped manage the pain from fibromyalgia, but it made the fatigue worse. That being said, it is different for everyone. I had a friend that absolutely loved it, it helped her with pain and fatigue. It’s kinda of a try it and see type medication, I do recommend using it for 3 months and tracking your progress on it before deciding if it’s something you want to continue using.

Honestly the older I get the worse it gets I can sleep 9 good hours and still start crashing by the 6th hour awake or so where I'm at work nodding off physically cannot stay awake. Looking into my adrenals, hormones and thyroid soon to see if it's any of those or just chronic fatigue. I'm sorry you're struggling it's one of the harder symptoms because it affects our function.
