Dealing with FND seizures: Need advice!

How do you deal with the seizures and stuff related to fnd? I was recently diagnosed and was told cognitive behavioral therapy was the only way to "manage" and there's no treatment, and it's been really hard on me.

Can you help? Connect today

I was told the same thing but I couldn't because of my memory loss turns out my seizures were connected to my PANDAS

I take hydroxozine for mine and take a bottle with me everywhere, as well as meclazine and baclofen. I’m just starting with FND and I usually avoid going places alone in case I have one, as well as keeping my outings in the afternoon when my episodes seem less likely. I think keeping track of when they happen and what you were doing is really helpful to manage triggers

For example, I try not to be on a device too much before going out because the light bothers me and triggers the seizures. They still happen randomly and catch me off guard sometimes, but so far I’m able to go to college full time and I’m going back to my regular work schedule soon (I work for a news service anchor from home most days)
