Definitely see a GI doctor, and yes zofran is a lifesaver, but my GI said the Botox into the pyloric area doesn't work and isn't recommended for everyone. I tried the usual reglan but had issues. I was then told the other medication technically isn't FDA approved in to get US, but they use it but is likely have the same reaction. Therefore I am unfortunately unmedicated except for nausea meds. And that's a miserable experience. I'm supposed to mainly do liquid meals due to this. I honestly haven't sick to that, which causes so many additional issues and ongoing pain and throwing up. I need to be more serious about eating properly to help manage symptoms which I'm told will make a big difference. So is recommend seeing a Gastro intestinal doctor and taking over options and following the gastroparesis diet.

Has anyone noticed that Prednisone helps with their gastroparesis? Also, does anyone's gastroparesis come and go? Mine can resolve for a year and then return out of the blue..m

mine is said to be from my diabetes. But it started after my throat stretched. Anyway. I ate really bad yesterday lots of sugar and today I threw up. First time in a long. I don't take reglan unless I'm dying. It's a very nasty drug.
