Dealing with GERD: Chest Pains and Medication

I'm dealing with Gerd. I never had issues with acid reflux before. I'm on omprezole and Famotidine(pecid) I have these chest pains that feel like I'm having a heart attack and pains in my arms, back, and face. I really feel like the reflux is coming from my high blood pressure meds. I'm miserable going for a GI study on Monday to monitor the acid in my stomach to see if the medication is working. Anyone had dealt with he same issues? Was there anything done differently?

Gerd is really horrible, I suffer from it. You can get surgery to correct it but eventually it might come back so keep that in mind!

Hi Nisey I am on the same medications and I also have chest pains.. I've had a GI and nothing was really said other than I had Gerd.. I've been seen by the heart doctor and the test came back good.. It's frustrating

Not really, I know the medication does help some because when I miss a dose I can tell..
