honestly for me the only thing that helps is distracting myself. simple things like drawing, talking to a friend or even someone on here, reading, watching my favorite show can really help me try to not think of those things. the more you think about it the worse you’ll feel. i literally will force myself into a panic attack by doing that. if you’re having trouble sleeping, take melatonin if you can. i take melatonin gummies every night infused with lemon balm- they work wonders. if you need anyone to talk to, please message me. we can talk about anything at all to get both of our minds off of these things. you’ve got this :)

@hails thank you so so much… I was in the middle of a panic attack and seeing your reply and how gentle you are almost got me in tears… i have siblings who shame me for having this illness…. I cant help but having it rings in my head whenever i get a panic attack…

There are a lot of ways to cope. I love the song saline solution by Wilbur Soot (he makes good Minecraft videos too) I usually listen to it when I feel misunderstood or really “ill”. My personal experience with health anxiety is to tell yourself “Today I am Healthy.” You will come to learn what symptoms are real and what aren’t. Also, NEVER GOOGLE YOUR SYMPTOMS OR COMPARE TO MEDICAL SHOWS. Hugs! Good luck!

I have health anxiety also it’s more about my heart and I’m always thinking something is wrong especially when I have chest pains arm pain neck pain and I can feel my heart beating and it’s hard to breath I’ve been to the er 4 times and every time they say I’m fine idk what to do either can someone help me am I crazy like literally rn I feel like I wanna go to the hospital AGAIN just to have that reassurance
