Dealing with IBS and Constipation: Need Advice

My IBS lately has been more focused on Constipation. I’ve literally gone a full week without a bowel movement and it’s incredibly painful. I haven’t been to the doctor because every time I go they tell me to “eat more vegetables” and I was literally told I’ll outgrow my IBS by the time I’m 60, so I don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars to be told that. I occasionally take Dulcolax, but lately that even hadn’t produced a bowel movement for me. Does anybody know how to help ease constipation? I’ve tried eating more fiber, and I’ve introduced a workout regime including yoga poses to help the body. I don’t know how else to help my body.

Note: I have chronic IBS-C. Working out and drinking water never help me. I'm not a coffee drinker, but recently, I've been drinking it twice a week, and it helps me go. I also eat a fig bar the night before. It's good to do a stimulate/ hard laxative, maybe once a week, to kinda clean out, since when there is a bowel movement, there isn't a lot. I recommend Bisacodyl for that, but be cautious with it since it can be used for clean outs before surgeries. If you have any questions, feel free to message me!😃👍
