Dealing with Insomnia: Need Advice

I've been dealing with some sleep troubles recently. I'm having trouble falling asleep and having some stressful dreams. I take Olly sleep gummies (1.5 mg of melatonin) that mostly work, but when I take the full dose (3 mg) I become a zombie the next morning. Does anyone have any advice about insomnia? I assume it's related to one of my conditions but I'm not sure which one.

Make sure to have less than half the lights on in ur house after like 8 pm and try to just read or something sedating until bed

I dealt with a lot of insomnia a couple years back. It helped me to count backwards from 100 or to go through the alphabet and list names that start with each letter. I sleep pretty well now that my anxiety has calmed down, but I think the beta blocker I’m on makes me have weird dreams.
