all of the advice i’ve followed from my therapists have been to pay the intrusive thoughts no mind (which is easier said then done). i’ve also tried to examine where the thought is coming from, and if it’s harmful or helpful. recognizing the facts also helps me with my intrusive thoughts, which i can explain more if you’d like! there’s a lot of easier said than done ways, but it’s all about getting those intrusive thoughts “un-stuck” from your brain and pass them off like any “normal” thought. be kind to yourself, though! you’re not alone in this. ❤️

Sounds silly but I got this from some a-hole boys from my high school. Anytime one of them “put” another one “down” (said something rude/hurtful/etc) the person who said that thing had to say 3 nice things to the person. Works with thoughts when you subconsciously judge someone else, noticing 3 things you like (not saying them out loud) or even complimenting them on something out loud
