Hello as a fellow OCD sufferer of 15+ years i was diagnosed as a kid. Here are a few tips and tricks I use. OCD switches from time to time some people's does and some don't. My OCD switched a few months ago and I have been having crippling intrusive thoughts of horrid awful things. Old news to me. What I've found to help is to use logic because OCD is illogical. Find what you know is true and what is not. Stick to the facts, OCD will do its best to try and convince you you're wrong and it's right. OCD loves the "what if" but you have to understand that it's just that, it's just "what if" it's not real and it's not happening so don't fret it. It doesnt make you a monster or a bad person to have the thoughts. Intrusive thoughts are a normal part of every human brain as a safty measure. OCD takes that part of the brain amd cranks up the intensity by making them in some cases constent and ending, horrible things that you wouldnt do or horrible things thay could happen and then shames you and blames you. Intrusive thoughts are normal and fine and are not the real you. OCD is the doubting disorder and will drain your morale if you let it so keep strong, keep level headed and fight with logic. OCD doesn't stand a chance you've got this. DONT catastrophize OCD loves that if something worries you stop and think okay what is real what is likely and what am I going to do or not do. Keep fighting and if you need any more help feel free to messgae me and ask or make another post whatevers comfortable. People care even if you don't know them.

thank you for this, I really appreciate it. It is crippling at this point I stopped working because of it and have been isolating. OCD is the worst thing I have ever had to deal with.
