Dealing with Jaw Pain: Seeking Advice

Does anyone have any advice for what to do with jaw pain? It gets so bad that I have trouble eating at the end of the day. I make sure that I don't clench my jaw during the day, but it still hurts.

i get jaw pain when i take my adhd meds from clenching my teeth.. i get botox for my unbelievably tight traps from my EDS and it makes a world of difference. you could try it, i know it can help people w TMJ. but it also will slim your face.. also maybe a muscle relaxant like flexeril could help relax your muscles if youre clenching. also clonidine is an ADHD medication i take as well, it lowers my blood pressure and helps me relax during the night but w POTS it can be tricky. lastly maybe you could try acupuncture, from an orthopedic acupuncturist. theyre not that expensive and orthopedic ones are very western and more modernized in their treatment. i think its worth trying a few times because it can make a world of difference for muscle pain especially

I use baby teethers to keep me from clenching down, and the gentle chewing keeps me from getting too stiff personally. I hope this helps!
