Dealing with Medication Noncompliance

I struggle with medication noncompliance and it's extremely difficult for me to get back on track when I've slipped up and had a big period of missed doses but today I took my pills for the first time in a month. Now I just need to stay on top of it. I guess I can be proud of myself for that.

Good for you! I sometimes have trouble with that, too. I motivate myself by reading about the dangers of not treating my illnesses. I don't let myself go to sleep until I've taken my meds.

yeah it's like I know how I feel when I don't take them but then I forget and then I slip up a bit and I feel okay at first so then I just keep going. Idk if I start to believe I don't need them or what.

I'm not sure how much this will help exactly but it has help me a little. My great uncles gave me and mom these cool pill cases with butterfly designs on the top. Its a little old fashioned but it makes me feel like I'm fancy person when I open my meds instead of the bottle from the pharmacy or a modern weekday pill organizer.

ooo okay! I have a typical pill box with the day and night and I have two of them so I fill up two weeks worth at a time but once I run out I lose motivation to take them again.
