Hey, I hope you are doing ok and I know that getting diagnosed can be scary. I had a wrong diagnosis about seasonal depression when I was 11, but then a few weeks after that I was correctly diagnosed with major depression. I was young so it didn't affect me much (the diagnosis) altho that everything I was feeling had an answer. Also side note: you can be diagnosed with both Bipolar disorder and Borderline personality disorder (BPD) (like me lol) but if you were misdiagnosed with bipolar instead of BPD well just take into consideration that it's very hard to tell from the two they have alot of overlapping symptoms so it's hard to diagnose it overall so just be patient on this journey.
