Dealing with Numbness and Tingling in Hands and Feet

I been dealing a lot with numbness and tingling on my hands and feet. Also tingling on my face or side of my head. Two days ago both feet my two little toes got numb I couldn’t feel them it lasted for a few hours. Is this something anyone goes through? What did the doctor tell you what it is? I’m not diabetic. I was diagnosed two years ago with fibromyalgia and seronegative RA

I have fm with peripheral neuropathy, as does my mother. Why we don't know. Neither of us is diabetic. Mine is more in my hands and back. Hers is in her feet and legs. I have had the face and head thing before too. You aren't alone I just can't explain it.

sounds like neuropathy. i had it a lot before dialysis, i’ve heard gabapentin is prescribed a lot for it. thankfully it went away when i went on dialysis so i never had to get treatment for it. i am not diabetic either.

Have you had advanced imaging done on your neck? Mine is from having degeneration in my neck.

I’ve had similar sensations but it had to do with circulation

I've had some of the same symptoms and experience neuropathy along with fibromyalgia. However, I highly recommend you see a doctor and get it checked out. It could be something like neuropathy, but it could also be something more serious that you shouldn't ignore. Good luck, I hope you feel better and find answers.

Sometimes a bulged/herniated disc can cause these symptoms. Generally mid low back down controls legs and feet. Mid to upper controls arms. Hands, neck and head.

You may not feel pain in the direct location. Though it does radiate to other places felt or sensation or lack of.

Ok it could one of two things in my experience I would get a urinalysis and if it’s fine then it’s not kidney function it could also be a side effect from new meds. I have lupus fyi and when I’m in the sun too long I have a flare up and it can swell me up from to bad to worse and I also have fibromyalgia with causes the tingling everywhere if that helps any. 😌🤞☺️

Also I would recommend elevating your legs above your heart 🙂
